A képzés célja

The aim of the training is to provide corporate and institutional decision-makers with a foundational understanding of the circular economy model. The course comprehensively summarizes the most important theoretical and practical issues of this emerging topic.

By combining 21st-century technological solutions with theoretical knowledge, it enables the implementation of the economic, social, and environmental aspects of sustainability for market participants. The circular economy model provides a clear and interpretable framework for this task.

• The participants will be familiar with the concept of the circular economy and its conceptual framework.
• The participants will understand the practical implications of the following elements of circular economy:
  • Circular material and energy management
  • The subfields of the circular economy model, technological circle, biological circle, renewable energy sources
  • The tools and key areas of the circular economy (e.g., food, water, energy)
  • The relationship between the circular economy and social responsibility.
• The participants will understand the management and other challenges related to the circular economy.
• The participants will be capable of interpreting the circular economy model and applying its practical aspects in a corporate or institutional environment.

Training Topics

• Introduction to the Theory of the Circular Economy (5 hours): The principles and characteristics of the circular economy, global challenges related to the broader topic. This module highlights the importance and development of the topic and introduces related concepts.
• Subfields of the Circular Economy (5 hours): The subfields, tools, and priority areas of the circular economy. This module also sheds light on the practical implementation possibilities of the circular economy model.
• Circular Economy in Organizational Operations (5 hours): Interpretation of the circular economy model in corporate, institutional, or municipal environments. Based on participants’ own experiences and the content of previous modules, this unit places the circular economy model in context.
