About KCA

  1. What is KCA?

KCA stands for Central Directory Identifier (in hungarian). When a user purchases a course that requires access to additional systems, this access is provided via KCA login, so there is no need to provide user data separately for each system.

  1. How does it work?

The online store handles registration for the necessary systems. To log in, simply click on the KCA login or Sign In buttons within these systems. If you are already logged into Microsoft 365 provided by the university, no further action is needed. Otherwise, a dialog box will appear where you can enter your KCA ID and password to log in.

  1. What is my KCA ID?

If you have purchased a course that requires KCA identification, the system will send you an email with further instructions, including your KCA ID. The ID is generated based on the email address you provided during purchase. For example, if your email address is example@gmail.com, your KCA ID will be example.gmail.com@online.uni-pannon.hu.

  1. What is the process for using KCA?

If you have purchased a course that requires KCA identification, the following steps will apply:

  • You will receive an email about your order.
  • If you paid by credit card, SimplePay will send you an email confirming the success of your payment.
  • Once the payment is processed in the system, you will receive an invoice via email.
  • You will receive an email titled “University of Pannonia Course Profile Activation,” which will contain a brief description of the next steps, your KCA ID, and a “Request Password” button.
  • Clicking the button will open a new page where you must enter your KCA ID.
  • You will then receive an “Request New Password” email. Click on the “Change Password” button in this email.
  • Set your password, which you will use to log into the platforms.
  • From this point on, you can log into the necessary platforms as described in point 2.
